Augustine is one of our Parent governors here at Shakespeare.
He is originally from Sierra Leone where he studied up to University Level. He attended the University of Sierra Leone, graduating with a BSc in Education, and majored in Chemistry in Mathematics. He then taught both subjects at secondary level in Sierra Leone.
In England, he persued a Diploma of Higher Learning in Nursing (Learning Disabilities) and a BSc (Hon) in Community Healthcare Nursing (Learning Disabilities) at Leeds Metropolitan and Leeds Universities. Prior to beginning his nurising training, he spent one year volunteering full time as a Community Service Volunteer.
Augustine currently works as a Support Worker as Deputy Support Manager for Specialsed Support Living Services, working with people with learning disabilities. He is passionate about the benefits and valiues of education, believing that 'knowledge is wealth' and 'the pen is mightier than the sword' - as well as giving back whatever he can to the community.
Augustine is a dad with one child here at Shakespeare, and is a Christian.
