Emma has over 25 years experience working in different schools in Yorkshire.
She has been Deputy Head Teacher at Shakespeare since 2008 and alongside Julian shares his passion about leading the school to be Outstanding. Emma believes the curriculum that is offered at Shakespeare provides children with a range of experiences and skills that will support them through life.
Emma sits on the Teaching and Learning sub-committee and regularly updates Governors on attainment and progress across the school. She is also a member of the Pupil Support sub-committee.
Emma has two girls, both of whom are school age and attends another primary school in Leeds. Her interests outside school include running, spending time with her family and singing.
