Christmas at Shakespeare: A World Tour finishing in Bethlehem
On Tuesday 12th December, our amazing Key Stage 1 children wowed us with a stunning performance of their Christmas play, Children of the World.
The play took us on a whirlwind tour of the world, showing us how Christmas is celebrated in different countries and teaching us all about their customs and traditions. They also songs in traditional styles of the countries we visited.
A brilliant performance KS1 - well done!
Wednesday 13th December saw Key Stage 2 perform their annual Christmas Nativity play and they were excellent.
The whole school went to St Agnes Chuch, just up the road, for our last Christmas before we move to our new building in September. It was a freezing cold morning with frost on the ground but everyone had a fantastic time watching our Year 6 actors performing and singing along with the choir, made up of children from years 3 - 6.
Parents, Governors and neighbours from the community were invited to join us too and in spite of the temperature, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Well done to everyone involved for their hard work and effort.
