At swimming we get something called Dolphins. A Dolphin is an award you work really hard for and shows what you can do at swimming. The hardest bit about getting my Dolphin One was when I first got in the water. I was scared to even lift my feet off the ground! We had to swim backstroke and front crawl to pass. I passed my Dolphin One on the 6th December. I was very proud and so was my mum. I was given my badge and certificate in assembly by Mr Gorton. It was brilliant!

When I first went swimming I was really scared, but after I got into the water I got used to swimming and it is great fun. I can float on my back, I can swim under water and float on my belly. It is excellent and is the greatest fun I've ever had.

I like to swim because I want to learn so that I can beat my dad at swimming! I want to have a race with him and his friends and win.
