Mission Statement of the school

Our School Aims are:

  1. To provide a safe, secure, well disciplined and stimulating learning environment.
  2. To help pupils develop lively, enquiring minds, the ability to question and argue rationally, and apply themselves to tasks and physical skills with increasing independence.
  3. To achieve the highest possible standards in Reading, Writing, Mathematics
    and Science.
  4. To help pupils to acquire understanding, knowledge and skills relevant to life.
  5. To encourage and develop moral qualities such as honesty, trust and respect
    for others.
  6. To help pupils develop an understanding and respect of a wide range of
    religious values and cultural traditions.
  7. To provide equal opportunities for everybody within our school community.
  8. To provide a broad and balanced range of activities as set out in the National
    Curriculum.
  9. To help pupils understand the world in which they live.
  10. To help pupils to appreciate human achievements and aspirations.

School recognises and builds upon early experiences gained in the home and pre-school setting, and provides a secure foundation upon which later stages of education can build.
