The Way I Feel
Exploring our feelings in Nursery
What a fabulous couple of weeks for our Nursery children! We have had some children returning who had not attended during lockdown, as well as several new starters and two new practitioners to settle into Shakespeare.
We decided the best way forward would be to deliver a project which explores feelings and emotions to help support the children to settle back into their full Nursery class.
As part of the project we shared some wonderful stories, with ‘The Way I Feel’ and ‘The Colour Monster’ making a real impact on the children.
We also learnt to communicate our feelings through drawings, worry dolls, love letters and the language of emotion!
