 CARETAKER

Required Immediately

Salary Range: B3, scale point 18-21

£17,303.79 - £18,836.10 per annum

Permanent contract, term time only
37 hours per week, 38 weeks plus 4 weeks
Working hours/shift times negotiable

We are looking to appoint a friendly, reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join our operational team at our expanding primary school and nursery.

The role will suit a dedicated individual who takes pride in their work and pays close attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be a great team player, with good communication, organisational and problems solving skills. We are looking for someone who relates well to children and can deliver exceptional customer service to support teaching and learning. You must have a ‘can do’, positive and professional attitude and be able to work well under pressure.

You must be able to:

  • deliver a range of caretaking and maintenance services
  • undertake general trade and maintenance tasks including repairs and DIY
  • use your own initiative and work to deadlines
  • build positive relationships with children, colleagues, contractors and suppliers
  • have a good knowledge of health, safety and hygiene.

We now work in partnership with Leeds City Council who provide our catering and cleaning services.
