Liz Hunter works for the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
Liz has lived in Leeds for the last four years, after nearly ten years in London where she was a civil servant. Since moving to Leeds, she worked firstly at Leeds City Council before moving to the Combined Authority working on transport policy.
Liz has a passion for education and believes that schools should create great learning opportunities for every child to achieve their potential. She was a Governor at a Tower Hamlets school for nearly four years before moving north. Liz sits on the Resources Committee.
