6C's NHS Adventure
Last week, 6C enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes insight into life within the NHS, discovering how science and teamwork unite to save lives.

The children took part in a series of engaging workshops, including an introduction to life-support through the DRS ABC approach; a hand-washing escape room designed to highlight the importance of infection prevention; and an interactive session that deepened their understanding of the human heart and circulatory system from their science lessons.

In this session, they followed the journey of a transplant patient – from hospital admission to returning home with follow-up medication. It was an insightful, inspiring experience that brought classroom learning to life, and we are very grateful to Leeds Teaching Hospitals for providing us with such a fantastic opportunity.
