Down On The Farm
Our Nursery Hive children had some very exciting visitors this half term! We kick-started our new learning project ‘Down on the Farm' with a visit from some real farm animals!
The children learnt all about how to look after the farm animals. We even helped the farmer feed the goats and brush the ponies to keep their hair nice and soft. The children were able to use and embed newly-learnt vocabulary as they explored the animals, as well as hearing and learning lots of brand new words too. This provided the children with a real and memorable experience which fed their thirst for finding out more. What a fantastic day!
