Oliver With a Twist – A Brilliant End-of-Year Performance
On Thursday 9th July, the Year 6 children delighted audiences with their fantastic end-of-year production, Oliver With a Twist, bringing the classic story to life through with an energetic performance, wonderful acting and plenty of laughter.
From the opening scene to the final curtain call, the cast showed impressive confidence and commitment. Every child played an important role, whether acting, singing, dancing or supporting behind the scenes. Their collaboration and determination helped create a seamless performance that captured the audience’s attention throughout.
The pupils communicated the story and its twists and turns of Oliver brilliantly, combining humour, emotion and excitement to make the plot easy to follow and enjoyable for everyone. Memorable songs, expressive acting and carefully rehearsed scenes kept the audience engaged, while the children’s enthusiasm shone through in every moment. There were plenty of laughs along the way, and the positive energy on stage was infectious.
This production 'Oliver With a Twist' was a joyful celebration of all of Year 6's time at primary school and a fitting finale to an unforgettable primary school journey.
