Parent Voice
Thank you to all the parents who joined us at Parent Voice this half term. We spent some time sharing our response from ideas raised in previous meetings:
You said: You would like to know what children are learning each week
We did: A weekly learning update section on our website
You said: It is really hard to get a dentist
We did: We heard from Leeds Dentistry School regarding free treatment this morning
We then enjoyed a five minute update on some of the good news that has taken place in school since we last met including:
- We have been awarded the GOLD The Primary Geography Quality Mark (PGQM) is a prestigious award from the Geographical Association that recognises and celebrates excellent leadership, innovative teaching, and high standards in primary school geography
- We won 'highly commended' at the Leeds Friendly Schools Awards in July
- We have launched our new My Happy Mind curriculum - more info to follow
We then discussed the school packed lunch policy and parents shared their thoughts and ideas on how this could be further strengthened. Finally, we heard from our community guests from Explore Tutoring and Leeds Dentistry school. To find out more about any of the above, please contact the school office.
