Residential Practitioners Vacancies

Residential Practitioners provide positive, engaging activities and experiences
for young people living in children’s homes, helping them to tackle the
challenges that they face, and acting as a support and a trusted guide in all
areas of their lives.

Leeds City Council is currently looking for people like you to provide vital support to young people living in
residential care, where you’ll be able to change their lives for the better through your work.
Join the free two-week pre-employment programme to learn about what it takes to work in residential care,
the skills that you need, and gain hands-on experience and qualifications that will set you up for a career in
Residential Services.
Upon successful completion of the course, applicants will have been supported to achieve an accredited
qualification in Paediatric First Aid and be offered the opportunity to interview for a Residential
Practitioner role.
