Shakespeare Shines for Eid Al-Fitr
On Friday 27th March, we shone a light on Eid Al-Fitr in school, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar. Children were invited to come to school in their special celebration clothes—and they certainly didn’t disappoint! Shiny shoes, dazzling dresses and smart suits filled the corridors; Shakespeare was truly sparkling.
During a special Golden Round-up, children learned more about how Eid Al-Fitr is celebrated and what typically happens on the day. They enjoyed sharing their own experiences, listening to others and asking thoughtful questions. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together to learn and celebrate.
