Y2 Outdoors
Year 2 have been busy developing their understanding of part–whole models through exciting outdoor learning.
Taking their maths lessons onto the playground, the children used chalk to represent the whole and its parts in creative and practical ways. They explored both the part–whole model and the bar model, drawing clear visual representations on the ground to support their learning.
