Y3 Royal Armouries Visit
Year 3 had an amazing and action-packed trip to the Royal Armouries Museum. One of the highlights of the day was our Spartan training session. We held our own shields and spears and learned how to move and train like real Spartan warriors.
It felt like we had travelled back in time to join an ancient army! We also worked in small groups to retell the exciting Greek myth of Perseus and the Gorgon. Some of us even got to act out the characters, bringing the story to life with dramatic performances. Afterwards, we explored the museum and discovered lots of fascinating artefacts, including impressive weapons and armour from different periods in history. Everywhere we looked there was something new and interesting to see. It was a fantastic day full of adventure, learning and fun, and Year 3 had a brilliant time!
