Have you ever wondered how electricity is made?
This week, Years 3 and 4 were lucky enough to watch the electrifying story of 'The Lightbulb Princess' by Tutti Frutti Productions here at Shakespeare's own theatre. The children helped a very unusual princess solve a very unusual problem. Without the twinkle of fairy lights, the holiday season could be cancelled and the family wouldn't be able to celebrate Grandpa coming home from hospital. Our intrepid children helped to guide the princess round the incredible stage as she learnt different ways to generate electricity to illuminate the world again with a little bit of fairy magic. We sang along with the catchy songs and learnt how important electricity is. It was a wonderful, absorbing production which lifted our hearts, got us moving and taught us lots about electricity.
