Year 4 Romans Day at Murton Park
Year 4 had an exciting and educational trip to Murton Park in York to take part in a special Romans Day. The visit helped to bring our learning about Romans in Britain to life.
The children dressed as Romans, handled real artefacts, and took part in fun activities such as marching like Roman soldiers and learning about Roman homes, food, and daily life. Despite it being a cold couple of days, they asked excellent questions and showed great enthusiasm throughout.
Everyone had a fantastic time and returned to school with lots of new knowledge and wonderful memories.
