Year 6 are Historians!
Year 6 enjoyed a brilliant trip to Eden Camp Museum to kick-start their World War Two learning this half-term.
Immersing themselves in what life was like for people in Britain during the 1940s, children experienced air raid shelters, life on board a U-boat and walked down a street replicating life during the Blitz.
They brought lots of learning back to school with them, from job roles women took on during the war to the ways in which society learned to 'Make Do and Mend'. We had a great day out and are excited to continue building on our History knowledge throughout this school year.
