Harvest Festival
In Year 4 we led a thoughtful and inspiring Harvest Festival this term. After reading The Great Food Bank Heist by Onjali Q. Rauf, we learned about the vital work food banks do to support local families in need. Motivated to make a difference, we designed posters to raise awareness across school and took on the mission of collecting the food bank’s most needed items.

Our efforts culminated in a brilliant Harvest Festival assembly, where we shared our learning confidently and encouraged others to help. Leeds South and East Foodbank expressed how grateful they were to receive such generous donations and would like to pass on their thanks to all families who were able to contribute. What a great display of compassion and commitment from all in Year 4!
