Bergu Mohammed

Bergu moved to Leeds over 20 years ago; he is originally from Sudan. With his wife, he has brought up his 6 children (3 boys and 3 girls!) in the Lincoln Green area. All his children have attended Shakespeare Primary School, and Bergu chose to become a Governor because he believes Shakespeare is a very special place.

Alongside working at St. James' Hospital in the A&E department as a Facilities Technician, Bergu is studying a Master's Degree at Leeds Beckett University in Cyber Security. Bergu enjoys his job at the hospital providing support to staff and patients, as it gives him the opportunity to help people facing challenging circumstances. 

Between his large family, his work and his studies, he does not find much spare time for hobbies!
