Communication with Home

School will regularly communicate with Parents and Carers in a variety of ways.

Please use the drop-down panels below for more information.

How does Shakespeare communicate with Parents?

How does Shakespeare communicate with Parents?

One of the most common ways we communicate with parents/carers is through letters home. This is particularly the case where we require a response, such as permission for a child to take part in a trip or club. Please check your child's bag daily for letters from school.

If we need to contact a parent or carer for an issue that requires an immediate response (such as when a child is unwell and needs to go home, or when a child has not been collected from school), we will do so by calling the emergency contact numbers held on our record. It is essential that parents inform school of any changes to their mobile telephone number or that of any other emergency contacts.

From September 2017, we are introducing a new system of communication called SchoolPing. All parents of Shakespeare pupils are invited to download the SchoolPing app, through which school can send out information, reminders and notices. A SchoolPing username and app for each parent can be obtained by contacting the School Office.

School will also send text messages to any parents who are unable to access the SchoolPing app.

School can be contacted by email at office@shakespeareleeds.org.uk

Please ensure that School has your most up-to-date contact information, including mobile phone number and email address.
